Logo restyling

"TOGETHER, BEYOND FLYING"

This is the claim framing the 50th anniversary of Aeroporti di Roma, celebrated on Monday 12 February 2024 at Fiumicino's Leonardo da Vinci airport, and set to travel with the company into the near future.

Thus, not only does the chosen title represent a historic event, but above all the payoff of the new logo reflects Aeroporti di Roma's commitment to people: the word 'together’ enriches and reinforces the pre-existing claim 'Beyond flying' with the aim to emphasise how the company's vision is focused on enhancing its community, made up of employees, passengers and the airport community, to foster and support growth and connections.

The brand's new visual identity is in strong continuity with its predecessor, now consolidated and acknowledged; the goal is to maximise its recognisability while renewing its identity codes, moving towards an evolution that makes them both more contemporary. The new logo ensures greater prominence of the visually predominant acronym ADR and retains the full description 'Aeroporti di Roma' for clarity.

The chosen language, ie Italian, features the name of Rome in both the acronym and the descriptor, as a sign of respect, memory and promotion of the company's roots and pride in ADR, the first and main gateway to Italy and the whole of Europe, reflecting the company's commitment to project itself into an increasingly global dimension and at the same time celebrating its history and local identity. The acronym stands out for its dynamism and international resonance, summarising the brand's values and future goals.

The new logo adopts a new shade of blue, more attractive and leaning towards a more direct and innovative communication approach, with a strong focus on the younger generation, as well as business partners and institutions. The brand's new graphics, with its stretching and soaring upwards, are a symbol for the company's constant commitment to outlining the airport of the future, a place that is attentive to people's well-being, where development is combined with sustainability, innovation, quality of services, inclusion, art and culture.
