Terms and Conditions for on-line sales of Airport Services (Passenger Services, Membership Registration, Airside Driving Licence, Airport Supplies, Education, Training)





1.   Subject

These sale terms and conditions relate to the purchase on the www.adr.it website of airport services managed by Aeroporti di Roma S.p.A.

The sale of such services is made by Aeroporti di Roma S.p.A., a company that is directed and managed by Atlantia S.p.A., with registered office in Via Pier Paolo Racchetti, 1 - 00054 Fiumicino (Rome), Tax code no. and Rome Register of Companies no. 13032990155 - VAT registration no. 06572251004, share capital of 62,224,743.00 Euros, fully paid up  

The Client must carefully read these terms and conditions, regulating the purchase of services made on the www.adr.it website in accordance to what is set out by Legislative Decree dated 6 September 2005, no. 206 ("Consumer Code") and by Legislative Decree dated 9 April 2003, no. 70 (hereafter, "Ecommerce Decree").

Making a purchase according to the established procedures, the Client declares to have read all the instructions given during the purchase procedure and to fully accept these terms and conditions.

Aeroporti di Roma S.p.A., hereafter referred to also as ADR, reserves itself the right to modify such terms and conditions.


2.     Rules for the purchase of Services

The purchase of ADR airport services is complete once a booking number is issued; this will be communicated to the client via an email sent to the email address provided during the booking phase.

The sale will be considered complete when ADR sends the client an e-mail confirming the order relating to the required service, containing:

- name and surname of the client or corporate name of the legal entity

- tax code

- VAT registration number (only if legal entity)

- Date of birth (only if physical person)

- flight number (only for passenger services)

- Membership number (if required)

- Service(s) required;

The email will state the procedure with which to receive the required services and the further information that will need to be provided.

3.   Services offered by ADR



Fast Track

1. The Fast Track service allows the passenger to gain access more rapidly to the gates via a dedicated route;


2. These restricted routes are currently available at Fiumicino Airport only at Terminals 1 and 3;


3. Aeroporti di Roma will not be held responsible if you lose a flight due to a delay in reaching the departure gate and will not be held responsible in case a passenger is denied access to the departure gate for failure to follow the airport security regulations in relation to hand luggage;


4. Aeroporti di Roma will not be answerable for any possible disturbance to passengers derived from a high number of Fast Track service users.


6. To request information regarding the Fast Track service it is necessary to email welcomeVIPservice@adr.it indicating the required service, the number of passengers, the contact details of a reference, date and incoming and/or outgoing flight.



1. Purchasing the VIP room service, you can access comforts and exclusive services in the two rooms managed by the Aviapartner Company present: Passenger Lounge gate E extra Schengen area and Passenger Lounge gate D Schengen area.

Comfortable and air conditioned lounges, dedicated personnel, newspapers and magazines, real-time flight information.


2. The two VIP lounge are located: a) Passenger Lounge gate D Schengen area; b) Passenger Lounge gate E extra Schengen area. Within the terminal there are dedicated signs that make it easy to find the rooms.


3. Opening times: the service can be used from Monday to Sunday: a) Passenger Lounge molo D Schengen from 05.30 to 20.30; b) Passenger Lounge molo E extra Schengen from 06.45 to 23.45.


4. It is necessary to adhere to the VIP lounge opening times. Were there a flight delay, the rooms will not be kept open beyond the above-mentioned times.


5. To use the service, you must produce your boarding card and the email with which you booked the service.


6. Access to the room allows to benefit from the services that are available within it. The documents detailing the purchase will be collected by the personnel in the room once you have produced them.


7. Aeroporti di Roma will not be answerable for any discomfort that passengers might experience when using the services within the VIP Room.


8. To request information regarding the VIP room service it is necessary to email welcomeVIPservice@adr.it indicating the required service, the number of passengers, the contact details of a reference, date and incoming and/or outgoing flight.


9. Other VIP Lounge no booked with this e-commerce are aviable in the Airport. For any futher information http://www.adr.it/web/aeroporti-di-roma-en-/vip-lounge 



These services are available in part also at the G.B pastine Airport in Ciampino.

a.    Airport permit

Service for issuing an airport permit with photo ID.

Duplicate due to theft, loss or damage.

b.    Duplicate of day permit

Service to request the duplicate of an airport permit. The latter will be valid for a day.

c.    Access with Escort.

Service required for issuing a visitor day permit. This is not in place for areas open to the public.

d.    Vehicle Permits

       Service required for their issue:

-       Permit for vehicle/trailer

-       Day Access with escort, also relating to the vehicle/trailer that needs access

e.    Trolley Permit

       Service for issuing luggage trolley permits.

a)    Issue of an Airside Driving Licence

Service to request admission to the theory exam to for the issue of the licence itself.

b)    Airside driving licence renewal

Service for the administrative renewal of an airside driving licence

c)    Reissue of a certified Update

Service relating to the update of the airside driving licence and to the relative types of vehicles that are added.


d)    Issue of Driving Licence duplicate

Service relating to the issue of a duplicate of the airside driving licence, in the event of its loss, theft or damage.

a)    Examination/issuing of act of designation

This procedure defines the process for issuing the Act of Designation for Known Suppliers of airport supplies

b)    Duplicate of act of supplier designation

Service to request a duplicate for the act of designation

c)    Access with escort for airport supplies

The access of supplies that, because of their nature or dimensions, cannot be x-rayed and do no originate from known suppliers is allowed with the escort of a member of staff qualified as sworn security guard (GPG)

d)    RX Carnet for airport supplies (25 modules)


The supplies (i.e. goods) for the airport that come from unknown suppliers can be delivered in the airside area after x-ray screening carried out by ENAC-certified staff qualified as sworn security guard, on duty at customs, and after handing over of the carnet.

a)     Security training course

Service for the training and awareness raising of people other than passengers who must access sterile areas without escort (CAT. A13 of ENAC Training Manual)

b)     Course to manage airport Emergencies

Useful knowledge to tackle and manage emergencies that might arise at the airport's premises. In particular, information is provided regarding: basic knowledge on how to prevent and control fires, how manage emergencies and risks at the airport.

c)       Duplicate of the Certificate

d)       E-learning training

E-learning training courses are available for airport operators. Simply follow the link to your chosen course and register to request the login details for the platform.

Putting the “special” into “special assistance”
Foundation course for training made compulsory by the ENAC Circular GEN 02-A of 2014 (regulations related to necessary airport assistance for Passengers with Reduced Mobility). Created in collaboration with the national disability associationsFISH and FAND, the course offers useful suggestions on various skills and helps to correctly manage the relation – lasts 3 hours 

At the end of the course, you must download and print your individual participation certificate once you have passed a final learning verification assessment. The course will only be considered complete once you have passed the assessment.

Dedicated service to request attendance to the theoretical and practical Airside Driving Licence course.

b)      Escort of vehicles and people

Dedicated service to issue the day permit to escort vehicles and people

4. General Airport services regulations.


1. Were there a temporary lack of services due to unanticipated reasons, ADR will endeavour to reinstate the regular functioning of services and to minimise any discomfort to clients;


2. ADR, during the purchase of services, will obtain personal data from clients and any other service users; these will be treated in accordance to what set out in Reg. UE 679/2016 "GDPR" information law;


3. For any complaints, suggestions and information requests, please use the email addresses of the specific above-mentioned services, indicating: name of claimant, purchase date for the service and nature of the complaint.


5.  Payment options

Every payment by the client can take place only through American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Diners and Maestro credit cards.

Some data relating to the order number, the amount to be paid and payment completion, which are necessary in order to purchase the required service, will be exchanged between ADR and the Bank on dedicated protected lines and with all the assurance provided by the use of security protocols implemented by payment systems.

ADR does not store personal data and the credit card number used in the purchase, as this information is managed exclusively by the Bank.

It is possible to pay also by postal payment slip, but only for membership registration and for training courses.

To this end, after having completed the ecommerce form, the user can select the option "Print payment slip" (Stampa bollettino) and then download the payment slip and make the payment at licensed outlets (post offices, postal banking facilities, licensed tobacconists, etc.).

The payment must occur within 30 days from the service request(s). The service can be used within and not beyond six months from the date of payment.


6.   Price

The price of services must be considered to include VAT, except for the cases detailed below.

Indeed, were services to be provided to clients that are not resident in Italy (both EU and non-EU citizens), no VAT costs are added, as the prerequisite of being a resident is absent (pursuant to art. 7-ter of Presidential Decree no.  633/72): the price itself does not vary (in such case it will be net of VAT, as not required).

The are no further surcharges beyond those highlighted at the moment of purchase, except for any bank or postal commissions.


7.   Invoicing

The sums relating to the services provided will always be invoiced by ADR.

To this end, during the on-line purchase, the client will need to complete the sections relating to his personal and tax details.

When the payment transaction is complete, ADR will send the invoice relating to the purchased service via email, to the email account provided.

For training services provided by ADR Security S.r.l. the invoice will be issued by the company itself.


8.   Cancellation

Were the service not to be used by the client, it can be reimbursed through a cancellation process.

The cancellation must be requested by recorded delivery, addressed to Aeroporti di Roma - via Pier Paolo Racchetti 1, 00054 Rome, to the attention of the service for which the cancellation is requested, starting from 10 working days from the conclusion of the contract (art.  64 and 65 of the consumer code). The reimbursement of what was paid will be made by ADR within thirty days from the date of reception of the cancellation request.

It is not possible to request a cancellation for VIP Lounge services, as in this specific case Aeroporti di Roma commits to provide the service at a specific time (art. 55 paragraph 1 of the consumer code).

It is not possible to request the cancellation for membership registration services, airside driving licence, airport supplies and duplicate of the training certificate, as the provision of the service (i.e. of the paperwork) will start once the payment has been made by the client, and anyhow before the 10 working day cut-off date required for exercising the right to cancellation (art 55. paragraph 2 of the consumer code).


9. Change of name for a person or vehicle


Any name changes for a person or a vehicle indicated as the receiver of the service will be accepted only in certain situations and only after the approval of Aeroporti di Roma. Please contact the individual services, at the emails provided above, in order to request such option.


10. False statements

By filling the request form for airport services, the purchaser is aware of the penal sanctions in case of false statements, of the creation or use of false documents, referred to in art. 76 of the Presidential Decree 445 dated 28 December 2000.


11. Privacy policy

The following information is provided in accordance with the current legislation concerning privacy (European Regulation 2016/679 “GDPR” - and Italian Leg. Decree 196/03 and subsequent amendments and additions).

a) Data controller

Aeroporti di Roma S.p.A., with registered office at via Pier Paolo Racchetti, 1 - 00054 Fiumicino (Rome).

b)Types of data processed

The data processed by ADR S.p.A. include personal information such as name, surname, and email address.

c) Purose and legal basis for processing

ADR S.p.A. will process your personal data, following your request, exclusively for the purposes of purchasing e-commerce airport services such as Passenger Services, Membership, Airport Licences, Airport Supplies, Instruction and Training. Providing the data is necessary to achieve the aforementioned purpose, and your refusal for the processing will disallow provision of the requested online services.

Anyone entering data also on behalf of others (employees, suppliers, colleagues, etc.) declares: (i) having the consent from the interested party for including their data and for the related service request (ii) informing them about the content of this page.

Also a specific and separate consent may be requested for using the data for direct marketing purposes, notably to send you newsletters about airport services and air transport, commercial promotions and institutional advertising. Providing the abovementioned data is optional and, in case of lack of consent for the processing, the newsletter service will not take effect, without this causing any prejudice to the possibility of using other services related the e-commerce service.

d) Data procesing methods

The data are processed in compliance with current regulations using manual, computerised and telematic tools, in a logic strictly related to the purposes indicated, so as to ensure the security and confidentiality of the data.

e) Data retention times

Your Personal data will be kept only for the time necessary for the purposes for which they are collected in accordance with the principle of minimisation under Art. 5.1.(c) GDPR for a period of 5 years. With reference to marketing and promotional purposes, for a period of 3 years consistent with the purposes and in compliance with the regulations.

f) Recipiens of the data

Within ADR S.p.A., only the persons assigned to data processing and authorised by the Controller to carry out the processing operations for the above activities may become aware of the personal data you provided. Additionally, your data may be processed by third parties to which ADR may assign specific tasks and services related to managing the service offered (e.g,. ADR Security, and the website.

The data will also be used by those who manage the payment services (bank, post office, etc.). The data will also be processed by ENAC as the party issuing permits within the airport.

These data may also be communicated to the competent Public Authorities for fulfilment of legal obligations. The aforementioned data shall not be disclosed.


g) Rights of the interested parties

We also inform you, that Articles 15-22 GDPR provide interested parties the opportunity to exercise specific rights; the interested party may obtain from the data Controller: access, correction, deletion, limitation of processing, withdrawal of consent and the portability of the data that concerning them.

The interested party also has the right to object to the processing. In the event of exercising the right to object, the Controller reserves the option not to proceed with the request, and thus to continue the processing if there are compelling legitimate reasons for proceeding with the processing that prevail in the interests, rights and freedoms of the interested party.
