Aviation Business Development

Welcome to the section of the website dedicated to airlines operating or interested in operating on the Capital's Airport System, the first in Italy for traffic flows. The System, managed by Rome Airports - ADR S.p.A., includes the airports “Leonardo da Vinci” at Fiumicino (FCO) and "Giovan Battista Pastine" at Ciampino (CIA).

Fiumicino Airport (FCO), the main Italian hub, is served by airlines from all over the world, which provide connections to all major international destinations. Its strategic location in the centre of the Mediterranean, together with the wide range of intercontinental flights available, confirms its role as a principal tranist pont for connecting flights for the entire central and southern European region.

The constant attention to the quality of services offered to passengers and airlines translates into continuous improvement and development of all airport operations and has been recognized with numerous awards, recognitions and quality certificates achieved over these last years: among others, in 2022, Rome FCO has been the first and only airport in Italy to receive the Skytrax 5-star rating for excellent standards in service quality and, for the sixth consecutive year, the ACI ASQ AWARDS among European airports with more than 40 million passengers per year for passenger satisfaction.
