A lovely and entertaining series of musical events among the 6th century arches of the splendid Cortile di S. Ivo alla Sapienza, in the
heart of Rome. A cascade of musical marvels together with some of the greatest successes of the orchestra, which also presents a series of new and alluring works.

10 and 11 August at 9.30 p.m.: 'From My way to Yesterday'. Frank Sinatra and the Beatles in 30 legendary songs interpreted by the Orchestra. Frank Sinatra Orchestra Suite on music by Gershwin, Porter, Howard, Mancini, Revaux-Francois, Kander, Kern, Klaempfert, Carson Parks, Miller. The Beatles Orchestra Suite on music by John Lennon, Paul Mc Cartney and George Harrison. Soloists: violin G. Bisceglia, viola C. Ramous, cello A. Ramous. International Chamber Ensemble. Time: every evening at 8.30 p.m.; archaeological tour at 8 p.m. Admission: ¬21, concerto + access to the archaeological area. 4 June - 2 October The fascinating archaeological Park of Teatro Marcello hosts this year's edition of the event of shows, music, poetry and theatre in the area which has hosted scenic games and sacred rites for over 20 centuries. Pianists, flutists, guitarists, violinists, opera singers alternate on stage, giving life to a colourful medley of music which will become the unforgettable soundtrack of the Roman summer.
