This section contains all the information relating to the services available at the airport.

Recently the airport has improved its continental classification for the quality of passenger services.

According to surveys conducted by ACI, the Airport Council International association measuring the perceived quality through passengers’ interviews in around 250 airports around the world - in the third quarter of 2016 Leonardo da Vinci ranks first amongst the large airports of the European Union, in terms of passenger satisfaction. In the space of only one quarter, the hub of the Italian capital has broken its previous record. This is the highest performance ever recorded in the history of the airport.

  • improvements to the infrastructure for passengers with reduced mobility (easily accessible desks, priority procedures for security and passport control, etc)
  • new position established: Terminal Manager to assist travellers
  • desk opened for the immediate issue of identity cards for passengers with a ticket
  • all info-points equipped with a fax and photocopier
  • separate collection of rubbish and optimization of waste disposal
  • restricted Kiss&Go and Stop&Go traffic areas established
  • new "flights-info" big screen, located in the departures hall in Terminals 1 and 3 at Leonardo da Vinci
  • Eat&Drink Guide distributed around the airport to provide passengers with detailed information on where to eat and drink at the airport
  • Personal shopper service is available in Italian, English and Mandarin Chinese. Personal shopper are operative every day from 9am to 9pm at the E boarding area.
