Rome, 12 June 2020 - Aeroporti di Roma informs that from next June 16 scheduled flights will resume from the G.B Pastine airport in Ciampino, interrupted last March 14 due to the multiple cancellations of connections to and from Italy, due to the Covid-19 emergency.

Aeroporti di Roma informs that is has prepared a further plan to reduce operations in Fiumicino passenger terminals. From Tuesday 07 April, boarding for all departing flights will only take place from Pier B. Check-in, security and baggage checks will continue to be carried out in Terminal 3 only.

The Musical Director of the Orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Antonio Pappano, and Luigi Piovano, the Orchestra’s first cello, performed an exceptional concert in one of the airport’s most symbolic locations. Many passengers were drawn in and enchanted by the performance at the piano set up just a few metres from the check-in desks.
