Today, in the morning, an isolated brushwood fire outbreak was extinguished in a green area close to Cargo City. The occurrence, caused by a Handling company operating in the area, did not cause any risk or consequences to the functioning of the airport. The intervention of the Fire Brigade, requested by ADR, lasted just a few minutes.

A fire just outside the airport was put out a few minutes after it had started in the nearby Focene cemetery. Smoke from the fire was visible from some areas of the airport. Atlantia S.P.A. informs that Monica Mondardini, a society board member, has been appointed President of Airports in Rome by the airport’s board meeting in force.
