Monday, 5, 19 and 26 March , tours of the Villa, a 20th-century jewel built by the architect Otto Maraini for his brother Emilio, a successful Swiss industrialist. The Villa rises on an artificial hill and is surrounded by splendid gardens with a nymphaeum in the shape of a grotto. The tower, Torre Belvedere, is almost as tall as the dome of St. Peter's Church and offers of magnificent view of Rome. In 1947 the Villa was, donated by the widow of the owner, Countess Carolina Maraini-Sommaruga, to the Helvetic Foundation and is today the home of the Swiss Institute in Rome, which promotes scientific and artistic exchanges between Switzerland and Italy, as well as hosting young Swiss artists and students.

1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17, 19, 22, 23, 29 and 30 March, a 1947 tram, restored and magically transformed into a mobile restaurant, runs through the most charming parts of Rome, from Porta Maggiore to theCelio Park and from the Colosseum to the Forum, ending at the Cestia Pyramid. On board this extraordinary tram, other than enjoying the beautiful scenery, one can take pleasure in the sounds of contemporary jazz talents.
