People

In 2023, ADR continued to demonstrate a deep and abiding commitment to its human resources, recognising that the success and sustainability of the company depend largely on the value and well-being of its employees. People are at the heart of ADR's corporate strategy, which is committed to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating working environment where every individual has the opportunity to grow professionally and contribute actively to the company's goals. Through targeted Diversity & Inclusion policies, an extensive training programme and Health & Safety initiatives, ADR aims to enhance each individual team member, promoting an organisational culture that is inclusive, innovative and safety-oriented. These initiatives not only improve the working climate but also enhance employee commitment, increasing their productivity and satisfaction, which are key elements in achieving operational excellence and competitive success in the industry.

Diversity & Inclusion

Main KPIs:
Female staff (%): 40
Women in managerial positions (%): 32.3

In 2023, ADR continued its commitment to diversity and inclusion by implementing its DE&I roadmap, aimed at creating a more inclusive and conscious corporate culture. Actions undertaken included the development of a communication plan to raise awareness among all employees on issues such as cognitive bias, multigenerationality, inclusive leadership and respect for visible and invisible diversity. A compulsory online course was implemented for all new employees explaining the principles of ADR's DE&I policy, to foster individual commitment to a respectful and inclusive work environment. In addition, a specific programme involved 100 managers in an immersive training on inclusive leadership, enriched with self-assessment tools for identifying and managing personal bias. The gender equality certification achieved in 2023 further consolidated these efforts, officially recognising the effectiveness of the DE&I policies adopted and setting new priorities for future management interventions.

Training

Main KPIs:
Average total training hours (h): 25

In 2023, the focus on staff training was a key pillar for ADR, with more than 104,077 hours of training administered on different areas to 4,481 employees. The training plan covered crucial aspects such as customer experience, with the aim of improving customer interaction through emotional intelligence and specific workshops. The training strategy also included innovation and digital transformation, with courses aimed at spreading the culture of innovation at all company levels. A distinctive feature was the 'Greenfield Program', a development path for young talent, which structures professional growth in the first five years of a career, with advancement plans and continuous training in soft skills and leadership. Finally, environmental and language skills training was also administered, preparing employees to respond effectively to the challenges of an ever-changing global work environment.

Health and Safety

Main KPIs:
Rate of occupational accidents with serious consequences (%): 0

Health and safety remained paramount for ADR in 2023. The company strengthened its risk prevention initiatives by integrating the accident frequency index among the performance indicators of its occupational health and safety management system. This approach has led to a significant reduction in accidents, through specific training such as manual handling of loads and the use of advanced technology to assist reduced mobility passengers. In addition, risk assessments for specific environments and working conditions were updated, and camera systems and alerts were implemented to improve site safety. Finally, special attention was paid to safety culture with human factors training for supervisors and operators, enhancing awareness of the impact of individual conduct on overall safety.
