Andrea M. Giordano

Chief Business Unit Infrastructures

He graduated in civil engineering from Università Roma Tre in 2003. He began his professional career in the transport infrastructure industry at an engineering company that designs and constructs airports and railways. In 2005 he moved to Mantua for the construction of the Bologna-Verona-Brenner double-track railway line project, as head of the site technical office. In 2006 he began working at Aeroporti di Roma (ADR) as head of territorial planning and mobility, responsible for managing relationships with stakeholders involved in accessibility. He was also responsible for developing models for transport and hydraulic resilience against climate change – something never seen before in an Italian airport. In 2017 he was responsible for the Project Management Office, for development and maintenance investments. Since 2022 he is the coordinator of infrastructure planning and intermodality across the board, and in July 2023 he has taken over the role of Deputy Head of the Infrastructure Business Unit. As of January 2024, he is Chief Business Unit Infrastructures for planning, designing and implementing airport development projects aligned with growth in air traffic and the ADR Group's sustainability objectives.
