The new company incorporates all the enforcement activities of the security checks on passengers, hand luggage and hold baggage, cargo and mail and, at the request of carriers and airport operators, other security services. ADR Security will remain within the scope of the ADR Group, which will continue to own 100% of the new company.

ADR Security also provides services for the surveillance of airport assets owned or under concession, by request of airlines or other airport operators.

The new S.r.l. of the ADR Group will encompass all current 819 employees.

The processes related to the provision of instruction and training of staff in charge of checks are carried out according to a quality management system certified under UNI EN ISO 9001.2008, in order to ensure the highest quality standards required by the industry.

The ADR Group manages and develops the Rome airports of Fiumicino and Ciampino and performs other activities related and complementary to airport management. Fiumicino operates through four passenger terminals. It is dedicated to business and leisure customers for domestic, international and intercontinental travel; Ciampino airport is mainly used by low-cost airlines and express couriers, and for General Aviation activities. In 2011, ADR recorded, as an airport system, 42 million passengers with over 220 destinations worldwide reachable from Rome, thanks to the 100 airlines operating in the two airports.
