Fiumicino, 4 April 2012 – ADR launches the spin-off project of Mobility-related activities, in line with its own strategy, focusing on the airport core business and therefore its development plan of the Capital airport system.

The project envisages the establishment of ADR Mobility, a company controlled by ADR, aiming at managing and enhancing the car parks of both Fiumicino and Ciampino airports, for a total of more than 18,000 spaces.
At Fiumicino airport, ADR Mobility will manage 5 Multi-storey car parks, 1 Long Stay car park, spaces for airport operators and other mobility-related activities. At Ciampino airport, it will be managing parking spaces for passengers, operators and the alike.

The management of relations with car rental companies and further added value services (i.e. car valet) fall within the spin-off project of the corporate division. Rent-a-car companies active in the two airports of the Capital are the best companies in the sector, with a volume of about 300,000 rented vehicles per year.
The newco total of activities generated a turnover of more than € 40 million in 2011, with a gross operating margin-prior royalties of more than € 32 million (EBITDAR)

As from today, ADR also launches the recruitment process for partnership forms, with a specialized and qualified sector operator, through a tough and competitive recruitment procedure, both nationally and internationally. The partner will have to bring along experiences and distinguishing assets, to further improve the quality of the service and develop the commercial offer and the management of those facilities reserved for parking areas. Unicredit and Mediobanca are both advisors of the transaction.

The ADR Mobility project is an integral part of the 2012-2044 Development Plan, which envisages investments for 12.1 billion Euros and job creation for 230,000 people, in the short-medium term.
Within the spin-off operation, ADR commits to maintain the current employment levels.

ADR Group manages and develops Roma Fiumicino and Ciampino airports, performing other activities related and complementary to the airport management. Fiumicino has four passenger terminals and is dedicated to business and leisure customers travelling on national, international and intercontinental routes. Ciampino is mainly used by low cost Airlines, express-couriers and General Aviation activities. In 2011, ADR handled - as airport system - 42 million passengers, covering more than 220 world destinations reachable from Rome, thanks to the 100 airline companies active in both airports.
