When art is merged with inclusion, the unexpected becomes reality. This morning, Rome Fiumicino Airport – an exceptional venue for artistic performances and the exhibition of extraordinary masterpieces such as Salvator Mundi by Giovan Lorenzo Bernini – became the stage for a theatre of diversity and inclusivity, thanks to the unprecedented collaboration between the Teatro Patologico Onlus – a no-profit theatre company made up of actors and actresses with mental disabilities – and Aeroporti di Roma.

The service, active from 5 August, will leave every day at 21:53 FCO Connect, the service for intermodal passengers launched by Trenitalia, Aeroporti di Roma and ITA Airways, exceeded 7,000 check-ins with peak demand in the afternoon All ITA Airways passengers, including domestic ones, will be able to check in at the FCO Connect desks, whether in possession of a combined train+plane ticket or with a plane ticket only

Enel was awarded the public tender to build, with the collaboration of Circet Italia S.p.A., the largest European self-consumption photovoltaic plant in an airport. The plant will make a considerable contribution to the energy efficiency process launched by ADR for the Fiumicino international hub and to the reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere equivalent to the planting of around 100 thousand trees a year.

• The new initiative is the result of a collaboration between ADR and RTL 102.5, Italy's leading radio station. Connections from Fiumicino airport with RTL 102.5 group radio speakers and the young Aeroporti di Roma communication staff. • Next stop, a radio workshop with students from three leading universities that run university radio stations: La Sapienza University of Rome, Luiss Guido Carli University and the University of Teramo, who will compete as radio presenters in the studios located in the new Terminal 1 square.

Fiumicino, 27 April 2023 - Increasingly integrated and sustainable mobility, focusing on customer experience, innovation and environmental awareness. This is the aim of the intermodality project promoted by Aeroporti di Roma, ITA Airways and Trenitalia, who, together, have today developed a new 'train + aeroplane' product that allows passengers to simplify their travel experience by combining rail and air travel with a combined ticket and check - in already at the station at the dedicated counters at Leonardo da Vinci Airport.
