Guimu Robot

During the project, Guimu Robot's autonomous driving robot was tested to provide insights into road pavement conditions. Through the PoC, its ability to deliver new insights, predict potential issues from a predictive maintenance perspective, and optimize maintenance plans was assessed. The implementation took place in an area of over 22,000 square meters.
The results allowed for:
 
  • Identifying surface defects and calculating the Pavement Condition Index (PCI);
  • Providing details on structural deterioration (number, type, distribution, dimensions, position, layer);
  • Generating a 2D and 3D Model – Digital modeling of the airport's pavement and in situ labeling of all surface damages;
  • Guidelines for predictive maintenance: assessing the overall health status of the pavement and suggestions for repairs.
