ADR: CONCERT, FOR PASSENGERS, OF 111 YOUNG TALENTS FROM THE SANTA CECILIA ACADEMY IN FIUMICINO TERMINAL 3
• The orchestra was conducted by Vanessa Benelli Mosell, the internationally renowned young conductor chosen as testimonial for the Mundys campaign • For the first time ever, a full orchestra performed a concert for the passengers at the airport.

Fiumicino, 16 March 2023 - Extraordinary performance at Fiumicino airport by the JuniOrchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia of Rome, composed of 111 young people and conducted by Maestro Vanessa Benelli Mosell, testimonial of the communication campaign for the launch of Mundys, the new infrastructure reality shareholder of Adr.

The event, opened by the President of Mundys, Giampiero Massolo, together with the President of Adr, Claudio De Vincenti, was attended by several hundred passengers, who welcomed with great favour and interest the performance of the young orchestras inside the international boarding area E at Terminal 3, built according to the most advanced technologies and the best standards of environmental protection.

The programme selected for the event featured performances of some of the best-known compositions by Ravel, Borodin, Bernstein and other internationally renowned composers. The concert lasted about an hour, opened with 'Danze polovesiane' by Aleksandr Borodin, followed by, among other pieces, Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story, and closing with Maurice Ravel's Bolero. The 111-piece orchestra consisted of, among others, 27 violins, 14 cellos, 9 flutes, 1 piano, 8 trumpets, 4 trombones, 8 percussionists. The Leonardo da Vinci was thus transformed for one evening into a large and innovative auditorium where outstanding artists performed in a unique concert for the audience and intercontinental passengers present.

The conductor of the orchestra, Vanessa Benelli Mosell, is an internationally renowned artist: she has performed in prestigious concert halls, such as the Berliner Philharmonie, the Laeiszhalle in Hamburg, the Auditorio Nacional in Madrid, the Auditorium du Louvre in Paris, the Dublin National Concert Hall, the Seoul Arts Centre, the Beijing National Centre for the Performing Arts, the Royal Festival Hall and Kings Place in London, and La Scala in Milan.
