The Aeroporti di Roma Board of Directors elected member Marco Troncone as CEO of the company.

Born in Naples in 1971, Marco Troncone graduated in Chemical Engineering from the University of Naples Federico II and achieved a Master’s in Business Administration from SDA Bocconi. In the last 12 years, he has made fundamental contributions to the turnaround of Aeroporti di Roma, initially as Board Member (2009-2011) and for the following 7 years as ADR’s CFO and Director of Strategic Planning, roles in which he oversaw industrial, regulatory and financial aspects of the Roman airport system.

In January 2019 he took over the Directorate of the Atlantia Airport Sector, co-ordinating the Group’s assets and airport development strategies both in Italy and abroad. He is the CEO of Azzurra Aeroporti SpA and Vice Chairman of Aéroports de la Côte d’Azur, as well as Board Member for Aeroporti di Bologna SpA. He has held professional positions in the past, both nationally and internationally, at Sintonia S.A and A.T. Kearney, gaining significant experience in strategy, corporate finance and infrastructure, with a specific focus on the development of airport business.
