In relation to what published today by some news media, Aeroporti di Roma would like to clarify that the Alitalia allocation within the new F departure area will be preferential, to favour hub carrier transits within the Leonardo da Vinci airport and to improve customer experience for passengers of non-Schengen states, but it will not be exclusive.

Fiumicino, 29 January 2016 - In relation to what published today by some news media, Aeroporti di Roma would like to clarify that the Alitalia allocation within the new F departure area will be preferential, to favour hub carrier transits within the Leonardo da Vinci airport and to improve customer experience for passengers of non-Schengen states, but it will not be exclusive.

 

Aeroporti di Roma, a Company of the Atlantia Group, manages and develops Rome Fiumicino and Rome Ciampino Airports and undertakes other activities related and complementary to airport management. Fiumicino has four passenger terminals. It is dedicated to business and leisure customers on national, international and intercontinental routes; Ciampino is mainly used by low cost airlines, by express couriers and for General Aviation activities. In 2015, ADR as a whole airport system recorded more than 46 million passengers, covering 240 world destinations that can be reached from Rome, thanks to the around 100 airlines operating in the two airports.
