ADR: ALITALIA WEIGHTING ON FIUMICINO DOWN TO 29% IN AERONAUTICAL REVENUES
The weighting of the airline Alitalia, in terms of aeronautical revenues, on ADR has decreased considerably in recent years and currently has a weighting of just 29%. However, as regards Fiumicino's passenger traffic, in the first quarter of 2018, this has grown by +2.5% compared with the same period the previous year. International traffic has specifically recorded an increase of + 7% and long-haul traffic is up by +17.9%. This is according to ADR on the data cited today regarding Fiumicino by the President of ENAC.

Fiumicino, 17 May 2018 – The weighting of the airline Alitalia, in terms of aeronautical revenues, on ADR has decreased considerably in recent years and currently has a weighting of just 29%. However, as regards Fiumicino's passenger traffic, in the first quarter of 2018, this has grown by +2.5% compared with the same period the previous year. International traffic has specifically recorded an increase of + 7% and long-haul traffic is up by +17.9%. This is according to ADR on the data cited today regarding Fiumicino by the President of ENAC.

 

Aeroporti di Roma, an Atlantia Group company, manages and develops the airports of Rome Fiumicino and Ciampino and carries out other activities related and complementary to airport management. Fiumicino operates through three passenger terminals. It is dedicated to business and leisure customers on national, international and intercontinental routes; Ciampino is mainly used by low-cost airlines, express couriers and for General Aviation activities. In 2017, ADR recorded, as an airport system, 46.9 million passengers with over 230 destinations worldwide that can be reached from Rome, thanks to around 100 airlines operating at the two airports. According to Skytrax official certification, in 2017 Fiumicino was the world’s number one airport for improvements and developments to its services. This recognition joins the award it was given by Airports Council International as the European airport most appreciated by passengers.
