ADR: MILLY CARLUCCI MEETS PASSENGERS AT DA VINCI
Ninth episode of “Incontra al Volo”, a programme of interviews with celebrities from the worlds of culture and show business, dedicated to the airport’s passengers

Fiumicino, 7 July 2016 -  Returning tomorrow at 17.30, at Leonardo da Vinci airport, is “Incontra al Volo” [“Meeting on the Fly”], a format devised by Aeroporti di Roma in collaboration with InConTra by Enrico Cisnetto, former creator and producer of the “Cortina InConTra” festival and TV programme “Roma InConTra”. This time the close encounter, aimed at passengers in transit at the capital’s airport, will be with Milly Carlucci, one of the most beloved faces on Italian television and queen of Saturday evenings on Rai Uno with “Dancing with the Stars”. The presenter will tell Cisnetto, and all of the passengers, anecdotes and odd facts about her extraordinary career: from her debut with Renzo Arbore to her brilliant success in Dancing with the Stars. The interview will be accompanied on the piano by Maestro Franco Canfora, who will perform three songs chosen by Carlucci himself, which are significant to his professional and human experience. The initiative is part of a cultural entertainment plan for passengers, which Aeroporti di Roma has launched to raise the quality of time spent at the airport prior to boarding. The event may also be followed by users of ADR’s social channels, who will be able to watch via live streaming and ask the guests questions.

Aeroporti di Roma, an Atlantia Group Company, manages and develops the airports of Rome, Fiumicino and Ciampino, and carries out other related activities complementary to airport management. Fiumicino operates via four passenger terminals. It is dedicated to business and leisure customers on domestic, international and intercontinental routes; Ciampino is mainly used by low-cost airlines, express couriers and General Aviation activities. In 2015, ADR recorded, as an airport system, over 46 million passengers with 240 destinations worldwide which can be reached from Rome, thanks to approximately 100 airlines operating at the two airports.
