FIUMICINO, FIRE EXTINGUISHED OUTSIDE AIRPORT
A fire just outside the airport was put out a few minutes after it had started in the nearby Focene cemetery. Smoke from the fire was visible from some areas of the airport. Firefighters were immediately called by Rome Airports, and extinguished the fire. There have been no registered disturbances to any flights.

Aeroporti di Roma, a member of the Atlantia Group, manages and develops the airports of Rome Fiumicino and Ciampino and performs other activities related and complementary to airport management. Fiumicino operates through four passenger terminals.
