ADR: Fiumicino airport operations
Aeroporti di Roma communicates that flights are gradually going back to normal schedules at Fiumicino-Leonardo da Vinci airport.

14:30 p.m. The first flights have taken off, among them a Delta Airlines flight to Detroit and an Iberia flight to Madrid. The airport management company has mobilised a task force of 400 employees to assist passengers, ensure security and control activities, and give support for emergency operations for the recovery of Terminal 3. 


Aeroporti di Roma, a company of Gruppo Atlantia, manages the airports of Rome Fiumicino and Ciampino, and conducts other collateral activities for airport facility management. Fiumicino operates four passenger terminals. It is dedicated to business and leisure flights to and from national, international and intercontinental destinations; Ciampino is mainly dedicated to low-cost airlines, express couriers and General Aviation activities. In 2014, ADR airports system recorded around 44 million passengers, with over 230 destinations that can be reached from Rome thanks to the 100 airway companies operating from the two airports.
