ADR: Analysis confirm that all parameters are within normal values
With reference to the press articles reporting the alleged presence of dioxin in the areas involved by the fire occurred between last 6 and 7 May at Terminal 3 of Fiumicino Airport, ADR informs that no alert has been issued by ARPA or ASL Roma D, or by any other competent body, to confirm the presence of such chemical.

Fiumicino, 25 May 2015 – With reference to the press articles reporting the alleged presence of dioxin in the areas involved by the fire occurred between last 6 and 7 May at Terminal 3 of Fiumicino Airport, ADR informs that no alert has been issued by ARPA or ASL Roma D, or by any other competent body, to confirm the presence of such chemical. Furthermore, ADR confirms that the analysis conducted by HSI Consulting srl and Biochemie Lab srl to detect air quality, aimed at detecting over 6,000 different chemicals in over 100 workspaces and in areas close to those affected by the fire, did not give evidence of any abnormal value. ADR, together with ENAC and other bodies and airport operators made all the efforts from the very beginning of the event to implement targeted measures for the protection of health and safety of workers and passengers, while struggling to maintain continuity in services to citizens in compliance with regulations and precaution principles.
