Ciampino airport reopened
Ciampino Airport has been reopened following its closure due to remnants of war from WWII found during the maintenance works to the aircraft aprons. The bomb disposal team has safely removed the objects.
Passengers at the airport were constantly informed and assisted by Aeroporti di Roma staff, who also provided food and drink during the wait. Airport operations have since returned to normal.
