Trenitalia is announcing that on Saturday, 7 September and Sunday, 8 September 2019 railway circulation will be interrupted between the Roma Tuscolana and Roma Ostiense stations due to planned work.
As a consequence, the trains on the lines involved will experience the following changes:
- FL1 Orte/Fara Sabina – Rome – Fiumicino Airport and back: trains from Orte and Fara Sabina will be limited/originating at Roma Tiburtina and Roma Tuscolana; trains from Fiumicino Airport will be limited/originating at Roma Ostiense.
- Leonardo Express: cancelled for the entire route and replaced with buses.
For the interrupted route, replacement service will be provided by the Rome subway. In the stations: Roma Termini (Termini), Roma Tiburtina (Tiburtina FS), Roma Ostiense (Piramide) and Roma Tuscolana (Ponte Lungo) it will be possible to access subway lines A and B with a Trenitalia travel document valid for the interrupted route.
The replacement buses for Leonardo Express will make traveller service stops for traveller services at Piazza dei Cinquecento (at Roma Termini) and at Via Gen. Felice Santini, Multistorey parking level D of the Fiumicino Airport, front railway station exit.
