Aeroporti di Roma, in partnership with Air Lingus, organised a special welcome for the Irish National Rugby team, arriving at Leonardo da Vinci.

After disembarking at gate E14, in new boarding area E, greeting and welcoming the Shamrock team was ADR which, thanks to its partnership with the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia [National Academy of Saint Cecilia]organised a “singing” flash mob, to tune of the song “Ireland’s Call”, involving passengers and airport staff.

Travellers present had the opportunity to be photographed with the athletes of one of strongest nations in the world, participating in the unexpected flash mob.

The “green” nation will play against Italy on 11 February at 15.30 at the Olympic Stadium in Rome and will depart from Fiumicino on 12 February at 12.45.
