Sustainability events

The programme of events developed by ADR during 2021, as part of the “The Careport” Campaign dedicated to Sustainability, is based on a series of initiatives in the field and constructive discussions with the relevant stakeholders on the fundamental guidelines for sustainable development, the energy transition of air transport and the challenges in the European field on smart mobility.

A central theme for Aeroporti di Roma is attention to the environment, with the ambitious goal of bringing forward the complete decarbonisation process, i.e., zero emissions from airport activities, to 2030. Key drivers for building the airport of the future are also projects focused on the centrality of the Territory, technological innovation and the inclusiveness of People and the new generations.

The initiatives and discussion tables envisaged in the 2021 programme therefore revolve around the concepts of Environment, Development, Territory and Community, in order to support the awareness and engagement process on the theme of sustainable culture and the fight against Climate Change.

New: The events that will be organized by ADR starting from May until October 2, the final date of Pre-COP26, have been selected to be included in the “#All4Climate – Italy 2021” Programme, launched by the Ministry of Ecological Transition aimed at promoting 2021 as the year of the Climatic Ambition.
