17 July 2019 FIUMICINO: SURPRISE CONCERT BY ANTONIO PAPPANO AND LUIGI PIOVANO AT TERMINAL 3 The Musical Director of the Orchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Antonio Pappano, and Luigi Piovano, the Orchestra’s first cello, performed an exceptional concert in one of the airport’s most symbolic locations. 28 June 2019 ADR: FIUMICINO IS VOTED BEST AIRPORT IN EUROPE FOR THE SECOND YEAR RUNNING. IT IS THE FIRST TIME AN AIRPORT HAS WON THE AWARD TWO YEARS IN A ROW, ALONG WITH SCHIPHOL Giovanni Castelluci (Atlantia’s Managing Director) said: “We’re very proud to have won the award again – it’s come as result of the hard work of our staff, ENAC and ENAV partners, border police and Alitalia just to mention a few. We’re determined to continue making the airport even better helping the airlines that are based here to be more competitive when dealing with the ever increasing global challenges” For the second year running Leonardo da Vinci is top of the ACI table made up of 20 European airports - with over 25 million passengers - for service quality, technological innovation and infrastructure efficiency. The inventions of the Genius of Vinci have been recreated on the first aeronautical machines in history. • The exhibition will be open to passengers from all over the world at Terminals 1 and 3 until January 2020. • The initiative, promoted by the Atlantia Group and organised by Aeroporti di Roma, is part of the national programme of the Committee for Leonardo's Celebrations. + Approfondisci
