Today, in the morning, an isolated brushwood fire outbreak was extinguished in a green area close to Cargo City. The occurrence, caused by a Handling company operating in the area, did not cause any risk or consequences to the functioning of the airport. The intervention of the Fire Brigade, requested by ADR, lasted just a few minutes.

A fire just outside the airport was put out a few minutes after it had started in the nearby Focene cemetery. Smoke from the fire was visible from some areas of the airport. Firefighters were immediately called by Rome Airports, and extinguished the fire. There have been no registered disturbances to any flights.

The company Aeroporti di Roma immediately imposed the maximum financial penalty on handling company Aviapartner for its methods of managing the Iberia flight, bound for Vigo, the images of which were reported by certain news sites. The non-executive position was without prejudice undertaken by Mondardini to her current positions within the CIR group. The Rome Airports Board of Directors, which immediately had a meeting after the board meeting, appointed the managing director, Ugo de Carolis, as managing director of Telepass since 2008.
