FAQ
How can I reach the "Giovan Battista Pastine" Rome Ciampino airport?
The airport can be conveniently reached by bus, train, car or taxi; for schedules and other useful information, check the "How to Reach Us" section.
What items are forbidden on board the aircraft?
Objects that may be used as weapons (i.e. scissors, knives, nail files, etc.) of any size are forbidden on board. EU regulations governing the transport of liquids prohibit carrying more than 1 liter in your carry-on baggage; containers for creams, gels and other liquids cannot have a capacity of more than 100 milliliters (1/10 of a liter, or 100 grams) and must be contained in a transparent and re-closable plastic bag. It is forbidden to carry any kind of firearm or cutting weapon, explosives or ammunition, unless accompanied by a valid permit issued by the competent authorities.
What travel documents will I need?
At the check-in desk you must present the handling or airline personnel with your ticket and a valid ID document: passport or ID card. You must also check to ascertain whether the country of destination requires special vaccinations or an entry visa. Passengers who use the on line check-in service should only go to the airport check-in counters if they have baggage to check in the hold: if they are traveling with only carry-on baggage, they can proceed directly to the security checkpoints.

There are two terminals at the Giovan Battista Pastine airport:
- The national and international ARRIVALS/DEPARTURES Terminal (for Low Cost and Charter carriers)
