Public transport in Rome is by bus and underground
Anagnina - Battistini
5.30 a.m. - 9 p.m., Saturday last departure 1.30 a.m.
Laurentina - Rebibbia
5.30 a.m. - 11.30 p.m., Friday and Saturday last departure 1.30 a.m.
When the Metro closes, bus MA1, MA2 and N1 follow the route, over ground, of metro A Anagnina – Battistini, and bus N2 the route of metro B Laurentina – Rebibbia.
Metro B1 - Conca d'Oro - Bologna
5.30 a.m. - 11.30 p.m., Friday and Saturday last departure 1.30 a.m.
Roma - Lido di ostia
5.18 a.m. - 11.30 p.m. (from 11.30 p.m. night bus N3)
Several types of ticket are available for public transport in Romeand neighbouring areas:
METREBUS ROMA
BIT: €1 valid for 75 minutes from the time of stamping, on any form of public transport inside the city.
MULTIBIT: €5 valid 5 times, including on different days (like 5 separate BIT). Every time the Multibit is stamped it is valid for 75 minutes on any form of public transport inside the city.
BIG: €4 valid for unlimited travel until 12 p.m. on the day of stamping.
BTI: €11 valid for 3 days of unlimited travel from the start date entered by the traveller.
CIS: €16 valid for 7 days of unlimited travel from the start date entered by the traveller
BIKESHARING
Moving around in Rome in a practical and eco/friendly way? Use the bikesharing service, running 24/7 with 29 stations throughout the city. Register and enjoy the service in one of the ten ATAC ticket office at the following metro stations:Termini, Lepanto, Spagna, Anagnina, Ottaviano, Cornelia, Battistini, Ponte Mammolo, Eur Fermi, Laurentina. Buy the service smartcard for only €5 (plus €5 for the 1st recharge). Hire and return (within 24hrs) your bike placing the smartcard next to the card reader. ARCHEOBUS
The trip takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. The bus starts in the centre of Rome and goes out to the Appia Antica. The open-top buses are
equipped with audio-guides in eight languages (Italian, English, French, German, Spanish, Russian and Japanese) providing information on archaeological sites and monuments along the route. The service runs daily from 08.30 to 16.30, departing every 30 minutes. The buses are Stop&Go, allowing travellers to get on and off at any of the designated stops. Tickets can be purchased at the kiosk in Piazza dei Cinquecento, on board the buses, or online by credit card with a 10% discount at www.trambusopen.com.
Stop&Go tickets (valid 24 hours) adult €15, concessions €10. Children under 5 and disabled passengers travel free of charge. Combined tickets available.

Terminus and information kiosk in Piazza dei Cinquecento, pavement D (Termini Station). The service runs daily from 08.30 to 16.30, departing approximately every 15 minutes. Stop&Go option available.
