Pink parking

On the occasion of International Women's Day, we have launched a new initiative: Pink Parking.

For women departing from the Leonardo da Vinci Rome Fiumicino airport, parking will be even easier: the airport car parking areas now have dedicated spaces, marked with pink stripes and posts.

In addition, for mothers to be and women with toddlers or strollers, the dedicated parking spots are about one meter wider, to allow easier loading and unloading of prams and baby carriages and to allow pregnant women more room to move.

There are twenty-eight parking spaces reserved for pregnant women and new mothers, and fifty-two others for women passengers in general, on the 4th level of Multilevel-Comfort D, opposite Terminal 3, and in Sector 2 of the Long Term-Economy Car Park, about eight minutes from the Terminals, which can be reached using a convenient free shuttle service, with a bus every ten minutes.

The reserved parking areas are under video surveillance 24 hours a day and are equipped with an SOS call box system and automatic cash machines for easy payment, with a contact button that connects to Customer Service, staffed seven days a week.
