What can I bring with me on board?
It is a good habit to make your own baggage identifiable, both internally and externally, with your personal data (name, surname, address, telephone number), by taking aut labels of the previous travels. Before starting a travel, we advice you to check which objects are allowed on board and in the stew baggage.

Stew baggage
The measures and the weight of the baggage to ship change accordingly to the airline company; you’d better ask the carrier which issued the ticket, in order to know the details and fees for surplus of baggage.

Hand baggage
It is allowed to bring with your-self only a hand baggage in the cabin. Furthermore, it is possible bring with you:

• bag, or bag for documents
• photo or video camera, CD reader, personal computer (separately for inspection)
• overcoat or raincoat
• umbrella or walking-stick
• crutches or any other deambulatory means
• the baby cradle
• reading items
• items purchased in the "duty free shops"

Who should I report to if my checked-in baggage is lost?
Passengers should report any lost baggage to the airline’s handling agent. For Rome Fiumicino airport “Leonardo da Vinci”:

Forbidden items : It is not allowed to bring with you or in your hand baggage, items which could represent improper weapons (for example scissors, knives, metal blades) independently on their measures. These objects are noted by the control systems and confiscated by the security officers.

Photo or video cameras and electronic instruments
The photo and video cameras, the personal computer of high value, need a documentation (for example: purchasing ticket, guarantee certificate of the instruments or import customs document) which demonstrates in case of control upon return, that these items were regularly purchased or imported to Italy.
In case of lack of these documents, we advice you to issue, at the port or airport customs office, a declaration of possession to show upon return.

Weapons
According to the security provisions, it is forbidden the entry into the national territory of any kind of fire, or blade weapon or of any improper weapon unless they have a regular permit issued by the competent authorities of the traveller ‘s residence area.
